Film Submissions

Submission Guidelines

We are looking for films by and about Indigenous, Black, Brown, LGBTQIA2S+, and immigrant people, including folx of all abilities. Special consideration will be given to films that center health and wellness.

We are commited to creating a multilingual space. We encourage the submission of films in language other than English. Subtitles are recommended but should not keep filmmakers from submitting.

The South Central Film Festival does not consider films that require screening/rental fees. All films will be shown out of competition.

Elegibility Requirements

Feature films (Running length should be more than 60 minutes)
Short films (less than 15 minutes)
Music videos (less than 10 minutes)
High School or Middle School shorts (less than 15 minutes)
Alternative Online Content or Web Series (less than 13 minutes)
